The magnet is strong enough that it stays put on my fridge door even when I slam it shut, and the beech has a nice weight to it. I keep it on the fridge as a little reminder to plan my next paddle trip.

Didn't expect a little beech canoe to live on my fridge, but it's been there since day one and the wood grain still looks great. Snapped it onto the car roof rack for a weekend paddle and it held fine.

The beech wood grain is gorgeous up close, and it feels sturdier than a fridge magnet should need to be. I stuck it on the metal file cabinet in my office and it’s the perfect little reminder to get outside.
