Sector 9 Comic

Didn't expect to care so much about a bunch of empty corridors, but the Sector 9 base feels genuinely lived-in before everything went wrong. The panel layouts pull you through the Colony's history in a way that made me reread the last few pages twice.

The lore drops in this Sector 9 issue are dense, but the abandoned base setting ties the whole Colony storyline together in a way I didn't expect. The artwork on the derelict corridors really sells the isolation, and I found myself flipping back to catch every detail in the background panels.

The pacing of the abandoned base reveal really nails the creeping dread, and the Colony's backstory feels like a mystery I actually want to dig into. Artwise, the cramped panel layouts in the tunnel sequences had me squinting right along with the crew.
